vcd to vhs
 

i have copied a film to vcd and it plays great on my dvd player. the problem is that i tried to copy the same film from my dvd player to my vcr and it plays great on my tv, but when i put the vhs tape in another vcr i get red lines all across the tv screen but when i put it back in my vcr the picture is perfect. i have tried the vhs tape in about 4 vcr`s and they all come up with red lines across?
any help in why it is doing this would be greatly appreciated.
