i cant get clone cd to burn faster than 2x

i cant get clone cd to burn faster than 2x,
i dont know the make of ny writer( it came with the computer) but i know its 4x.
I have nero burning rom.
Also is it possible to copy half life (euro) without clone cd, using nero burning rom.

the demo of clone cd only burns at 2x, you have to buy it to get to go faster than 2x.
