Homebrew selfboot games won't on jap machine
 

2 part question:

i've d/l a bunch of these homebrew games, like bomberman clone, sof_full, asteroidsDC, etc, all homemade games.


the ones that unzip into cdi or nrg selfboot images burn fine, and when i put them in my japanese dc, i get the DC circle logo, and then the sega logo, it is at that point that the screen goes dark. the disk spins for about 3 more minutes then stops.

-is this anything like what happend w/ the echelon rip of sanfransisco rush 2049? where they left on the country code and then released a "fixed" ip and bin for it?

so does anybody know how to "edit" the ip and or bin to make it bootable on any country machine?

is that even my problem?
