What am I doing wrong?

Please help. I have been making back ups for a while now, but consider myself to be still a novice. I just tried to make some on a new computer and I can't seem to get it. I'm using CDRWIN 4.0a beta and a Plexwriter. I'm using the same settings I used before, but the discs just aren't working. I've tried different methods and just wound up with a bunch of coasters. I've gone from disc to disc, made an image file, I even tried Clone CD, nothing. I heard Plextor was one of the favorable writers. Anyone have an idea??
Thanks for any help.

some people say that cdrwin 4 is not all that good for psx but a bit more info would be nice like what games and what settings your writer is 100% compatible with cd clone (plaxtor)

I'm using the settings recommended by this site. I have these settings:
read raw sectors
error revovery=ignore
jitter correction=auto
subcode analysis=auto
data & audio speed=1X
read retry=10
record speed=1X
all others are default.
Thae games are,Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Tomb Raider(Last Revelation) and Soul Blade. I've actually made the Tomb raider back up before, but I've lost it. I used an older version of CRDWIN though. It was 3.8 I believe.

what type of cdrs are you using?? (i hope your not using cdrw)
what burn speed are you using?? many new cdrw drives dont allow slow writing like 1x or 2x speed.
is it a hacked version of cdrwin??

need more info

Thanks for all the help guys, but I figured it out. I forgot to change the record speed. I should have checked, I've been making back ups for a few years now, just not everyday like some of you. I can't believe I let something like that go unchecked, oops!
