Backed up MOHAA with Nero

I read all the old threads to find a way to burn MOHAA, but my burner and cdrom wouldn't make an image file, they both stick on 1% read for an hour.

So I just dragged the MOH cd contents over to my hard drive and then burnt them with Nero to 2 CDRs. No special settings just default Nero.
Works like a dream, installed and runs with the no CD patch.

And I was all worried about getting clone CD to work with it and it was as easy as that =-). My burner is an Acer 2410a btw.

This forum is not intresed in making backups with no-cd's or cracks.
try burning it with clone cd.

eh?

Whats the point then? Why all the fuss over Clone CD when you can just drag it over? It works.

Im not flaming, I just dont get it.

But it is not a *PROPER* backup.
I could go to the nearest market and pickup a second hand writer for $20 and it will still do this job.

NO-CD cracks are widely available

But this forum is starting to get REALLY boring with people asking the same question.

And my Pipex mailbox is nearly full of emails cause people trying to sell pirate games and asking me how to do things.

BUT THIS FORUM IS ONLY FOR *BACKING* UP GAMES.

Since im a nice guy i answer all my email questions.

P.S sorry not for going into enough detail for you patang, it's just that i was in a rush because my wife was moaning at me to go out.

Yea making a copy by using a crack is nothing special - but hey neither is making pancakes from pre-made pancake mix - but it still tastes as good. Even so, it's your first step into copying games and it's good to try out all avenues. The first time I copied a game I downloaded a crack and thought g8 this isn't too bad. But then of course came the ccomplications this brings such as difficultly updating the game etc.
And then of course I also wanted to have *perfect* copies as they are better - so I bought a new writer and never looked back. :D

So keep copying with whatever method suits you. ;)

Your lucky...Nero doesn't even detect my CD-RW. Since it is my only CD drive on my desktop Nero is officially useless to me now. I don't even want to think about pulling out my laptop and my external HP burner again...I still have nightmares about it.
