GTA Answer Simple
ok to make it simple I used Clone cd to copy the 1st and 2nd disc. With the secound disc I set the read to 4X and the write to 4X and it made a perfect copy. Then I took the audio folder from cd2 and made a copy of it-then put it in the audio folder of the rockstar games gtaIII game folder. Now go download the no cd crack install it and it will work....

but i cant find the no cd crack anywhere!

Look on the Main page where it says latest games scroll down and you will see News---news-----news---- and its in spot 8. Just click on it and download it ------

Well, I've tried the crack, and i've also searched the site, but can anyone please tell em what's wrong...whenever I load the game It runs through the two intro-movies, then freezes at the screen with the cast on it.

Hard disc and dvd just freeze up. tried running it on the cd-r as well,a dn that didn't work. Even with the crack, it still freezes!

My system:

HP Pavilion PC
Windows ME
AMD Athlon 1.3 GHz
256 MB RAM
GeForce 2 MX 100/200 32 mb
DVD rom dvd - 116 pioneer
Mouse: intelimouse optical (Microsoft)

theres your problem

its pants. change it. get windows xp. read the gta3 readme after getting windows xp, so that you dont have to post about visual problems when theyre in the read me. read readmes and get rid of windows me. its crap!

There's absolutely no point reading and writing and these low speeds if your gonna use a crack. If you use a crack then you don't need a perfect copy.

OK, but I am having the same problem, Win98 (Not millenium edition) Celeron processor, and not only does the screen get all phased at this point, but it prompts you to insert disc 2, which is in there...I have another query: My pc sees disc 1 as the game, with icons and all that, but whenever I insert disc 2, music match jukebox automatically launches...no I need to re-copy the disk?
