Discjuggler = max speed 4X

I have a new LG 24/10/40 burner (model GCE 8240B).
It was working with no problems before I installed Discjuggler 3.50.818.
Now the max speed in all burning programs I have is 4X. I cannot select a higher burning speed in any of them - Nero, Adapted Easy CD 5.1. Both of those programs report the max record speed as 4X now in the Drive properties tools. I've tried uninstalling the burner in Device Manager and reinstalling it, uninstalling and restarting the computer, I've uninstalled Disc Juggler, I've reinstalled the ASPI drivers - nothing helps.

Windows XP pro
Duron 650
384 MB RAM
Gigabyte GA7ZX newest bios, newest VIA 4in1

Is there an official site with your burner drivers ?
You should check there if you could find your burner's drivers for XP.

There is no place that I could find where drivers were available. Drivers shouldn't be the problem though since the burner was working perfectly before I installed DiscJuggler. Only after the installation did the maximum speed drop down to 4X.

DJ might have installed his own drivers...

Your burner isn't listed on the padus home page as being compatiable with diskjuggler. What does diskjuggler recognise your burner as ? I'm assuming this was your first installation of diskjuggler and not simply upgrading from an older version. Diskjuggler uses it's own ASPI layer, so simply removing your ASPI layer and re-installing it won't make any difference. If diskjuggler isn't recognising your burner correctly all i can suggest is removing it until an updated version comes out that does (though i'm surprised it doesn't already). This still leaves the problem of everything else now seeing it as 4x. What version of ASPI layer are you using ? Does ASPIchk report your ASPI layer to be working correctly ? I would recommend using ForceASPI as there are problems with the latest Adaptec one and Windows XP.
