GTA3 Trying to make a copy of my own GAME.
 

OPk here is the jist..

I used CloneCD, and made coies of both my disks.. i have a problem with the game cd.. install works fine *i think* now when i play..with the copys it sit there with the R on the center of the screen.. how do i copy the play disc right?

Jeez - would you ever search the forum and read up on copy protections...

But start by downloading Clony XXL and then check to see if your drive (whicb you haven't told us) is able to copy Safedisk 2.51 - try looking at the supported writers list on the Clone CD site.

sorry, but i don't copy games much.. but i want 2 copys one for my laptop and one for my desktop hehe, anywho. I have a Toshiba Laptop 5005 Satillite cd-rw/dvd ..

how bout a little encouragement instead of just telling him to read the forum.

theres so much on here and for a newbie its prolly all very confusing.

some of the attitude you get on here makes me laugh, especially as we are all here looking for advice, help and answers to our copying problems.

I set him on the right path by giving him a link to Clony XXL.
I also pointed out that the game is protected with Safedisk 2.51
This gives him a good head-start - you can't expect to have your hand held all the time and it's good to experiment yourself as you learn.

And also there are loads of GTA3 threads on the first page of the forum alone - a bit of background research goes a long way

it was your first line of reply that annoyed me initially...as i too have had similar replies in the past and especially when i was new to this. guess im too sensitive.
