Grand Theft Auto 3 - Myth cracked exe
 

Just thought I'd let people know about the Myth cracked exe that is posted on the GCW site. If your having problems getting it to work (such as the game asking you to insert CD2) the fix is quite easy. The cracked exe is litterally a no-cd, and looks to the games audio directory for all audio related files. Just copy the files in the audio directory on CD2 into the games audio directory on your hard drive. That should do the trick.

because myth released the whole game to be downloaded, and not just the no-cd.....

i tried it and grand theft auto 3 still asked for disk 2

Well since this forum is for backing up original games only, by your own admission you don't OWN the game anymore, the mods might get on to you for asking about that. We've gotta stick to the rules of the forum if you want it to last. :cool:

hey lil half swell, he didn't say he sold them, he just doesn't have them anymore, if you lose them, don't game people/copyright people still consider it yours, therefor you are able to keep backups, and have a purpose to having backups...

i have em back now i just lent em to a friend so now its good and working.

i had the myth crack on my old system running windows ME, and it worked great. Now i have updated to windows XP, and the game will not load a saved game. Everything else works fine, but i just cant load a saved game. Can anyone please help me ?

Poney1, you searched and found this thread now search again and you will find the answer to your problem.

i looked but could not find anything. Maybe i am not looking in the right place, im new to this site. Someone Please help me,,,its driving me crazy

I don't see this myth patch you're talking bout on this site. Does anyone know where I can get a crack that is coupled with the files that need to be copied off the CD?

NEvermind I do remembering finding it. It was an .ace file, so I looked for another crack. I guess I'll get to get this winAce program if I want to be able to crack this game right.
