:( How can I change the directory in MS-DOS? I have tried countless times and can't do it even though I'm following the instructions on how to. Can anyone help.

Are you talking about that old game Driver? I think it uses Safedisc protection. What are you talking about changing directories in DOS for? It should be really easy to back up with CloneCD.

The game driver from a couple of years ago. I downloaded the burning instructions and one step told me to create a couple of directory's a cd one and a cab one then copy the cd to the cd one. It then asked me to change between them using MS-DOS. It also asked me to remove the read only property from the Data1.cab file. Suffice to say it didn't work. I use Nero Burning ROM. I'll certainly give Clone CD a try though.

Yes CloneCD will certainly back up your original games very well, provided you have a compatible CD burner. You can find a list of the supported burners on that site as well to see if yours will work with it. That will be much simpler than those other backup instructions you were using.
