ANYWAY, I went to the http://www.go.to/gamefix site and found this:http://www.galazu.com/~gamefix/mw/mw4_20_nocd.rar and this: http://www.galazu.com/~gamefix/mw/mech4-20.ace , but they don't work! Just "Not Found " stuff.... :confused:

Sorry for the bump, but here is the story behind this:

So I took Mech Warrior 4 (2 discs) and put the 2 CD's images on my HD... then I burned the Images back on 2 burned CD's.... Later, I put in the CD's and installed the game, I see the game's opening credits and main menu, and then I quit.... Later, I go to play again and it says that I need to put in the correct CD (eventhough I tried both burned CD's)... oh, and I tired Reinstalling! Also, when I put in the origional CD, it opens up the main menu, there I can replace the origional CD for the Burned one, and it works... I don't understand!

What i meant was that NSBF should use this pic as his avatar (= the little picture under the name) because its in his signature.

Gamefix always has problems hosting their files lately. Find them some webspace and theyll load it up again.

So Gamefix is the only site with a v2.0 patch!!! There must be hundreds of sites.... got any links? What about Unsafedisk!

Dont know about Unsafedisc. Try SafediscAnalyser and use Unsafedisc/Unsafeshit to remove it if it really is Safedisc.

if I have the v2.0 patch, can't I just use any version crack to unsafedisk the game?!

In some cases that works. But only if the protected .exe isnt at all affected by the patch. You can try it though.
