witch chip to get?
 

ok i'm getting my ps2 here in a few weeks, and decided to decide witch chip to get. i herd the neo 4 is bad fer your cd lazer so it's out.
i here that the missia2 is comming out soon. i was told thats the chip to get. i hate swapping disks. i have just redone my dc needs boot disk games to selfboot games :D the only prob with the missia2 chip is the price. $80 to $100. man that's half the price of the system it self. i have concidered a no soder chips, but to many down fals. i'd concider a chip that needs to do a swap, but i don't want it to hurt my system. please tell me where i can get the chip/s you recomen. thanks guys and gales. Mostly from wot I've heard swapping chips r just bad, especially no solder. Since I've had my ps2, I started off wit a v5 no solder r mod, then went 4 the neo 2.2 to play all of my games not just half of them, but then I heard that it damages the laser like f**k so I got the new neo4r which compared to the messiah I think is a good choice plus its £20 cheaper.

Messiah is no doubt the best chip to get.

I think that any mod chip you get will damage your laser. Because when you play dvd rips the laser has to work extra harder than regular dvd games. So the laser will eventually wear down faster.
