Is this a good writer to do some backup's with CLONECD from PC, PSX and PS2 games?
CloneCD website has these things supported - Write:RAW-DAO 96/Read:RAW+96. Any opinions???

try it out with some SD2, Ps2 gamesand then let us hear your results.

My first results using the GCE 8160B

-> Stronghold, Safedisc 2 protected

Copy works fine in DVD-Rom and the old Teac R55S-Writer. Trying to play the game with the LG window pops up "Please insert disc again and retry..." Used App: Clone CD V3.091

-> Commandos 2, Safedisc 2 protected

Copy works fine in the LG Re-Writer. Trying my DVD-ROM and the Teac it results in this damned xxxx.tmp-error. Used App: Clone CD V3.202 - weak sectors switched on.

Strange effect, uhm?!

Please give me some hints if I have to use different settings at the read/ and write-modes when I use the weak sectors option.
