i'm sure people ask this question a lot, so i tried searching the ps2 forum to make some sense...after all, i am a newbie :D ... anyhow, i can NOT find which version PS2 i have, or which mod chip i should get and was hoping the nice people on this forum could possibly help? i don't see any screws, the expansion port slides out, and the version info its displays is: scph 30001, browser 1.10, cd 1.10, PS Drive 1.10, DVD 1.10U ...could someone please help a newbie! thank you!

?

I'm guessing I have V1 since the serial starts with U1 and it has 10 cheap "rubber stoppers" that apparently covered screws. sorry if i've offended anyone and that's why there's not much back and forth conversation. I'm sure there will be plenty in the future. thank you for reading the posts though. help is still appreciated. thank you! :D
