ACER 2010A 20x10x40 - Is it a good writer? Can It copy protected discs?
 

I was thinking of getting this drive. I like the speed and I have had good experiences in the past with Acer products. But I haven had anything by them for a couple years, so i don't know how ther recent products are.

I just want to know if this drive can copy protected discs, those with Safe Disc 2 and Securom? Thanks for any info.

according to its spec it handles the EFM codes necessary for SD2. However, it is not a suitable recorder for protected Playstation Games if you intend using it fir that as well.
