S-Box Info
 

I want to buy a s-box for 14 € at lik-sang (till i saved the money to buy a messiah).
But I have a question. Can I use the memory manager (from the 16 MB Memory card) with the s-box to play backuped games like gta 3 pal or splashdown pal ?
and can I boot patched us games/backups with it ?
And which single cable it which needs to be soldered, is there a tutorial/picture anywhere ?

the single wire install depends on what model ps2 u have , (in some case's u have to remove a piece from the board as well) so modding it again later can be a hassel, just go a no-solder from www.consolesource.com I think they have them for all models now.

allthough not a 100% mod u can pull it out and go the messiah later :)

Some install diagrams do say to remove a component but that is totally unnecessary. I have installed several neo keys and never removed that component, all worked fine.

Thanks a lot for the answer, but i have one question, does the memory card manager work instead of the AR/GS ?
.... however, i can't decide which chip-solution is the best for me now! what would you suppose ?

s-box will not boot any dvd-r games.

suggest messiah clone from dust2dust check this forum..

think they are £70 + pp

if you cant do the solder work get a No-solder mod and AR2/GS2
