why can you only use cdrwin when applying patches why cant u use clone or nero.................

Actually you can patch a CloneCD image. you can try this:

1. Read the original to hard disk in the normal CloneCD manner
2. Rename the IMG file to BIN and apply the patch in the normal way
3. Rename the BIN file back to IMG
4. Burne the IMG to CD-R with CloneCD

I can't guarantee anything but its worth a try and let me know the outcome. Happy playing

I only use nero 5.5 to clone my cds and patch them. Its dead easy . Simply create an image file using the image recorder then use the patcher I use p4u apply the patch and then burn the cd making sure to change the recorder source back to your cdrw.
