Playing Age of Empires II online?
 

I successfully copied Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, for PC, but I cant seem to play online? Any ideas?

I used CloneCD?

Dude, one thing, it's a burnt copy and you'd need an update as well as an update crack to even play burnt, unless i am mistaken (someone correct me if i am) you are able to play only over IP and programs such as GameSpy, but you should be able to play multiplayer without the CD in the first place, most games have that option...
well... i could look it up if you'd like...

I cant even play over Gamespy! :( it just says 'Unable to join game' in Age of Empires II.

I'm able to play multiplayer and single player without any cracks.

The only reason I can think of is my firewall.. its Norton Personal Firewall 2002, but even when I disable it, I still can't join any games..

Any ideas?

i spent more than 30 minutes to post a usefull good reply for you, but its not here, and im sure here were 4 replies before i added minde, 2 replies of other users are deleted too.....

u can email me and i explain u all i know...

i really worked hard for that reply and no links to illeagal sites (unlesss gamefix, which is linked in gcw several times) were added and the admin just felt to delete it, so i can only say

forever goodbye to this forum

You didnt link any illegal sites, but you told people to upload the game somewhere, which is illegal.
