LiteOn, why hast thou failed?
 

Hmmm....

I tried backing up Arcanum yesterday. The game is Securom 2, isnt it?
Well, I have the LiteOn 24102B, and I´ve been able to back up everything (!!!). Diablo 2 is Securom 2 or am I wrong? Game runs like a charm. But the EVIL Arcanum wont let me be do a backup.
It is a shitty game, but I want do make backup of my games anyway.

Anybody who knows what the problem might be?

Hehe, I solved it.
I should be ashamed. All I neede to do was to put in my old DVD drive again(don´t really use Pc-DVD). It doesn´t read the ATIP!

Now everything works great.

But that got me to thinking, since I have a LiteOn, Safedisc 2 copies only work in the recorder itself. But with the new versions of Safedisc 2, e.g The Max Payne update, the protection also looks for the ATIP. Am I right?

Well, since I can´t run the disc in both the recorder AND the DVD at the same time, how would one do?
