am i in the wrong place?

i recently (about a week ago) posted a request for some suggestions on where to start if i wanted to make my own no-cd key. i mentioned that it was for mtg: interactive encyclopedia. the only reply i received was to "buy the original media". gee - thanks alot. I apoplogize for venting here but but i guess my reply to that reply was not "appropriate" for this forum or something because the post was removed or disappeared - i dont know.

my point is that i DO have the original media but would like to have a no-cd key or learn how to make one ANYWAY! i dont see what the problem is. if this message board cant response to a post like that constructively then which one can?

if the person who gave me that smart aleck reply reads this - reply as i have some questions for you.

I think you mean a NO-CD Crack, not key. By saying key, some people will think you are looking for a serial number and thus don't have the original.

I don't know if anyone would have made a NO-CD for your encyclpaedia - but have a look at the sticky topic at the top of this forum for some links. But the cracks are normally for games.

yeah. i did mean crack. just used to using term key. sorry.

the encyclopedia is a game. its magic the gathering: interactive encyclopedia used for playing magic online. i did check the links at the top of the forum before posting. nothing there. actually i spent a day looking for the "crack" as well as info on how to make one. i couldnt come up with it and had a hard time of figuring out where to start/what to use to make the crack. i did try uncdcheck but that didnt do it.

thanks for the constructive reply though!

If you can't find a NO-CD crack you could try using something like Daemon Tools to mount the image on a virtual drive
