at the end of my line with a backupping problem (deltaforce 3)...

i bought this game, delta force land warrior, right when it was out, 1 year ago. now. i recently sold my other puter, and didn't have LW on my new puter. heard the game is coming cheatfree, by a new patch, so i decided to give the game a go. problem is, the original cd i have, is scratched, and no toothpaste, no chemicals, no surface cleaners etc, none of those helped. the cd is wrecked. :( yet, i do have a backup. made on blindread, version can't remember. i used HP9110i to make the backup image, not sure if i checked all the right options tho... now, am i doomed to go and get a new cd from the shop, or is there a way that i can play again? my buddy said he can't get any of the "iso's" of the game in the net to work, without no-cd patches, so looks like i'm in trouble. and damnit, all i wanted, was to play a cheatfree game for a few times.

any hints, tips, help?? thx. :)

why don't you want to play this with the no cd patches?

i do, as soon as they're out. as in now. but for future, is there a way that i can get a clean and working backup of the cd? there will be occassions (format c: for example), that i will have to reinstall the game. so i need some help, wether there is or isn't a no-cd patch available.

as time passes the copy protections that now are "undefeatable" will be just a walk in the park...so you will deal with safedisk 2 as dealing with safedisk 1 but when this happens there will be safedisk 6 or something like this(i think):D :D
