help a newbie :)

hello!
i wanted to ask, if i can burn ps2 games with a cd burner... and if yes, then please explain it to me =)
i don't wanna buy a dvd burner because the burner and the dvds are such expensive :/

Yes - you can backup ps2 cd format games using your cd burner. http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Tutorials.htm is a good place to start as they have some excellent tutorials.

You will need a dvd burner if you want to backup ps2 dvd format games to dvd.

You can "rip" psd dvd format games and burn them to cd-r - although this strips out movies/sound of the game and can be a lot of work.

The dvd media itself is not that expensive, you can pick up dvd-r for as little as £2

Hope this helps

Thats because there was no link for ripping. BigLos has provided you with the best link.

i've read this:
He who does not want its Playstation 2 immediately reconstruction, must use a little trick so that the copy runs also, the so-called Swap-trick.

How does this trick function and be to be used it meaningfully it?

hello?

There are many methods for playing ps2 backups without a modchip, but i don't reccommend it, unless you plan on buying a new ps2 in a few months. spend some cash and get a messiah, it's cheaper in the long run. Big Los is my hero!!!
