Dust4Dust has reported that Princo CD-Rs (which are excellent for Car Audio) won't burn on his A04 - aren't even recognised. He thinks firmware will sort it out later on.
So what I put to you is this: A03 is at a well established and reliable firmware point without these problems. What would make the A04 better than the A03 (because you can avoid Princo) is if CD mode with CloneCD works withsubchannel data. This is not supported on the A03. |
So will the A04 read and write subchannel data? If not I think I will go with the A03. Thanks for the help...

BG - if you have a good CD burner that's CloneCD compatible, then I'd advise getting an A03 despite the fact that within weeks the A04 will surely be sorted out and a better bet.
However, I'll get Dust to pick up on this thread and his advice will be helpful to you. |
