Newbie, NEEDS HELP!!!! DC VGA related
 

Hey ppz, i need massive help. I've talked to all my friends, they don't know shit. The one friend who does know is not able to be reached. I haven't tried calling the stores yet. Here's the deal.

I got a dreamcast off ebay. i think its ok, i don't think its the prob. it seems to be acting right. my pc is fine too. i got the DC VGA cable, the one that allows you to hook up the DC to your PC monitor. anyways, i hook it up all correct last night, and i got no visuals or audios coming out of my monitor or my pc speakers. the screen is black. the DC is spinning the disc i know it.

what gives? what is up?

also, theres a switch on the dc vga box...it lets you switch from PC to TV. and there is a power lite too. i switched it to tv for the hell of it, and the power lite lights up on it, but still no audio/video on screen.

i switch it to pc, still nothing. and when i switch it to pc on the box, the power lite on the box goes off.

what is up? the DC VGA cord i didn't get on ebay. I got it at Babbages, though it is preowned. I think maybe i got a bum cable.

anyone help me with this? i am so fucking annoyed, i seriously want to game on it tonight. and this weekend. I'm going to try and visit a few pc shops today for answers, but if anyone can help me out, please post back or email me:

Hotmail has been acting weird with me on this pc (i'm at school right now), so you're gonna mail a hotmail one, mail the excite one too. hotmail might still be fukked when i get home. who knows with them these days?
