Hello
I have Buzz lightyear of star command, it plays on my pc but not on the psx. (Don't know if it's pal or ntsc)
Tried to burn it on a lower speed, but still didn't work.
Do i need a patch for this (old) game?

what programs are you using,what model # is your burner,what settings are you using ect.if you are having problems we might be able to help a little better if we know what you have to work with.

I burned it with a plextor burner 24/10/12
I burned one with cdrwin V3.8 from the bin & cue file, with the settings they used to be.
The other try was copying it with the bin file emulated with Deamon tools. A copy from 'cd' to cd with clone CD at 4 speed.
Settings from clonyxxl.

Both versions did NOT work in the PSX, but work fine on the PC with Virtual game station!!
I Also tried it on another PSX both also didn't work.

Really don't know what the problem is, but it looks like a mod-protection.

Hope you can help me with this info.

do not try and copy from your cdrom to your burner,make a image file to your hard drive and then burn it back.use clone cd to create a cd image with these settings
set read speed to 1 0r 2x
select read subchanel data from data tracks
select read subchanel data from audio tracks
select abort on read errors

burn image to cd

set write speed to 1 0r 2x
select raw dao
select dont repair subchanel data
unselect simulate writing (if available)
select burn proof/just link (if available)
unselect perform laser power calibration(if available)
unselect wait till buffers are full(if available)
select always close last session

Did buzz lightyear on the fly at 8x but psx are better at 4x also your better reading to hdd till you know what youl get off with as youl have coasters everywhere..all psx are nearly all the same settings (clone cd)read subchannel data ,subchannel audio and write ;close last session clony xl will set the settings for you (not xp)get clonyxxl 85% english for xp...the only psx games ive had bother with are spyro 3 and weakest link..................ps my writer is not clone compatible but it does nearly all psx.

I also dont use abort on read errors
