Yamaha writer problem
 

I hava a yamaha 8824 scsi burner. and yesterday the orange light remains on after a cd is inserted

I've tried all kinds of cd's, music, blanks etc.. and
no luck any suggestions???

I've tried not pluggin it to the scsi card but nothing..

It basically means that it doesn't think there's a disk in there. Does the laser need cleaning with a cleaning disk/flail?
