Hello from Australia, this is my first time so please dont be hard on me,i shall try not to break any rules....My problem is i can copy Motoracer 2 here at home with Clonecd using the appropriate read options to overcome the protection which is apparently called "protect CD"..Amazingly however,my brother does exactly the same thing at his house but his never work..The only difference is he uses Windows XP where i use 98..
can anyone suggest why this maybe so? please?

You say the *only* difference is the OS. Does he have a different burner as not all burners have the same capibilities.

Thanks Ghosthacker for responding...its a bit daunting first up as im sure you are aware We both have Sony burners but his is very late model and very quick i think it reads (or writes) at 24 speed where my old girl is Max at 8 Does this help you help me? hope so

Try to give the EXACT model you have. Look at your CD-Rom properties. It should be there.
Its strange that you can do a copy and your brother cant. As far as i know the newer Sony burners can do real 1:1 copies while the older ones dont.
