FileForums - list of games that will work on soderless mod

I recently bought the no solder mod for my v5 console. I am new to the backup scene and installed it with no problem. I then come to find out that this chip makes my tray fly in and out at warp 10 and it won't boot games that are over the TOC of the GS that you are using to do the swap method. I use clonecd to backup my games and my cdrw that came with my Dell 1.1ghtz. I have made successful copies of plenty ps2 games that are on cd-rom. This mod chip plays them fine but you have to hold back the cd tray when you swap so that your disc is not ejected into your lap and when you swap you also have to hold the tray so that it does not fly back in so that the disc will seat right on the spindle. Out of thirty games I have made copies of none have failed to work with this mod. These games have all been PS2 cd-rom games though. The only game that I cannot get to boot with this mod so far is Resident Evil 2 for the playstation. I use Verbatim media and my PS2 cd-rom games burn fine on the very first try so I know it's not my media or my drive causing this game not to work. I looked high and low for a patch but can't find one for Resident Evil 2 so I am assuming there isn't one. For the person who replied stating that this mod will play ALL games it WILL NOT. This mod does not play dvd-rips either because of the TOC issue with the chip. The mod will play dvd-rips as long as they are under 650 or 630 megs. I don't know which because I read posts that quote different values for the TOC but they are all in between these numbers. I am waiting for the Messiah 2 to be released later this year and I will be getting one of those. The new Messiah is said to work on all versions of the console. Swapping is a minor annoyance that comes with a cheap mod chip. I was going to send it back but I changed my mind. I was going to buy a dvd rom and rip games but since I found out that this is more trouble than it's worth I will just buy a dvdr and make direct copies of the dvd rom games. I don't know how this chip boots dvdr games but I have read that it works fine with these. If anyone reads this and has any info as to why Resident Evil 2 for playstation will not work with this mod please explain what I need to do to make it work.
