LG Electronics CD-ROM's & CD-RW's

Am I missing someting in the real world? There doesn't seem to ever be much said about LG drives, even finding reviews on them is a task. I think these drives are great, (both the CD-Rom's and the CD-RW's) I just bought a LG 16x10x40 and so far it is working great, burning 648mb in less than five minutes. I realize that LG isn't one of the super names (ie.. Plextor, Teac, Yamaha) but they are just as good without the name. I just replaced my plextor 8x4x32 with an LG.

I'm thinking of buying the LG GCE 8160B(I think it's the one u have).
How is it at burning copy protected CD's? Does it work with Safedisk2?

I have only had mine since friday, the only thing i have burned is a couple of Audio CD's and about 5 cd's of MP3's. Im working on making my Music collection Digital......which seems to be taking some time, since I only have about 400 or so cd's...lol....But I did read in another newsgroup that acording to nero or clone cd it does supprt reading in raw mode. I cant remeber which forum it was on tho.
