Copy or rip games and movies to DVD-RW
 

I have succesfully backed up ps2 ganes and movies to DVD-R and work great. I am now trying to backup to DVD-RW, but the software does not recognise the media as being blank.
I normally use PrimoDVD 2 for games and Smartripper and Gear DVD for movies, but they keep saying "insert blank media".
I know it must be possible. Can someone tell me the best way of doing this.

Are you sure your DVD burner supports DVD-RW and not just DVD-R...

yeah, ive got pioneer a03. It came with VOB instant dvd and i have done a full format. I can copy files to it in explorer.
Any ideas

Have you tried updating your FirmWare? (This probably has nothing to do with it, but it's worth a shot... 1.68.) I have the same burner, and it works for me (including RW).

I have updated to 1.68 aswell.
what software do you guys use?

I have burned a movie on a DVD-RW with Pioneer A03 and I cannot play it.
I used DVDDecrypter and Nero to create the DVD-RW. It works perfectly on a friend of mine's Sony DVD Player, but on my 30004R PS2 with Messiah it's not working.
Any idea?
