DVD Film Media
 

Now, I use Verbatim media for game backups which work fine. Can I use a cheaper brand of media to play back films without any problems, or will I have to use the same kind?

I seem to be able to any crappy media ($2.00 range) for Movies... Games on the other hand seem to work better (no skipping during movie sequences) on better DVD media.
