Im lost, help please!
 

Hey, im new to buring and im attempting to make copy's some of the games I have.

I have searched the board for way of doing iy, but I think im doing it all wrong, as the last one did not work.

So if someone could help me that would be great!

If I make a Good copy do I need to get a no CD crack, or will it work like the original.

This is the burner I have.

Mitsumi CR-48X9TE, I am trying to burn, Jagged Alliance, Black and White, Theme Hospital, Fallout Tactics, Worms Armagedon, and a few others!

I have so far only tried Jagged Alliance and the Install CD did not work, and the Play CD also did not work.

For the play CD I used Neo-Burn.
For the install cd I used Clone CD.

I read two documents on how to burn protected CD's and both told me to select different options. ( I couldn't find thoes options for awhile, only after had I got the image file for Jagged Alliance Install CD) so that could be why it didn't work.

So if anyone can help me go through the steps and stuff I need to burn games suchs as these, that would be great.

Download Clone CD 4

Also get Clony XXL to tell you what protection is being used and what settings to use in Clone CD. Even though Clone CD 4 does the job for with regards to picking settings, it's useful to have Clony XXL anyway.

Check out the Clone CD site to see what your burner is capable of.


If you cannot make a perfect copy, or u cannot make an almost perfect copy (by using Amplify Weak Sectors), then download a crack at the likes of GCW

Is there any version of Clony that is all in english??
and will Clony change the setting of CloneCD for me, or do I have to do that myself.

If it says it is hard to copy, is there other stuff I have to do?

And how do I test if my burnner can Handle all these copy protections?

I have a MITSUMI CR-48X9TE

the only 100% clony now is the first 1 that had safedisk 2,4 as the most difficult protection...now for all the other questions you will have to search.....

I just tried to make a back up of Black and White, I searched and looked up how to do it, but I messed it up, and the game wont run after I install it.

Its weird tho, the first time it alsmot ran, but then locked up, then i uninstalled it, installed it with the original CD and ran, and same lock up. Uninstalled again, installed with copyed cd and now wont run?


Did I jsut make a mistake while burning?

Im not sure how to put all the setting in Clone CD after Clony tell me what to select. I have trouble finding some of the options, and knowing what to do with options it didn;t say anything about?

Should I just leave everything on Defult!?

oh and does it matter what speed you write the CD to??. I used 4x for makeing the image file, and 24x for writing ot to CD?

try burning at a lower speed...
