Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong . I have tried to B.U. Sims House party but have had no success, I have a Sony CRX120 burner. ClonyXL says it is protected with SD 2.5 I tried the betablocker program on image file then ran CloneCD 4.0 but still no success.

It's not protected with 2.51
Run Safedisk Analyser on it and you'll see it's probably 2.4

try using unsafedisk if nothing works....

Well it mightn't be 2.4. It may be an earlier version, but definately not 2.51

Sims on Holiday/Vacation is 2.51 :(

hot date patch 2 ? you mean they update the protectoin through a downloadable patch, or is this a different release version? i REALLY hope its the second........because im not sure how the first is possible

im just having trouble grasping how a patch could change the protection. its simply not clicking inside my head. of course the patch can alter the software installed on the pc, but it cannot alter the software on the cd-rom, where the protection is.....which makes me wonder why put 2.51 on a patch? maybe im retarded today, it IS 3 am here

Think of the reason like this. The old game has 2.4 (vulnerable to Unsafedisk).

If they upgrade to 2.51 with a patch, then their vulnerability is gone and you can't unwrap the main exe now.

gamefix's unsafedisc is downloadable from china (?) system timeouts, does anyone know where another copy may be hiding local to the US?:(
