Burning .cdi files won't work

I'm quite newbie with DC, but I've burned some games successfully.

When I try to burn .cdi file wih diskjuggler, burning completes successfully but dc will recognize cd as a music disk.
What went wrong?

It probably is how you're setting Disc Juggler to burn the .CDI file.

You cannot just double-click the CDI (which by the way, will load DJ), and expect it to burn a good copy.

You must use the "New Task" box to get ready for your burn. It may come up automatically or you may need to click "File/New" (or CTRL-N) to get it up. Then choose "CD Image to CD Recorder". Now on the "Source & Destination" tab, click the icon under the "Source". It will pop up a box where you can browse to the .CDI you want to burn. Once that's done, make sure the destination that is checked is your CD Writer. If everything goes right, the "Start" button should no longer be grayed out... Make sure you have a disc in the drive, select the speed you want to burn, using the slider on the right, and press the "START" button.

Also make sure you have a recent version of DiscJuggler.

i simply use cdi2nero and use nero to burn, all burns work 100% every time, some DJ ones boot sometimes and not other times, really odd!.

It might be a problem of DJ version.
Sometimes, I've also got this problem when using some blank CD : not all trademarks work on my DC... That's annoying !

i have 400 blanks bought at the same time (long story)...bottom line EVERY burn from Nero works...DJ sometimes works (more often not).

Considering Nero works all the time why dont people just use Nero ? is there something It cant copy?!

DiscJuggler works fine everytime for me.
I find it easier to use than nero, but it's jsut a matter of preference...
