Made a back up, upgraded to v1.11, inserted the disk, got the usual "please insert etc..."
I then replaced with a crack, only trouble is when I go to internet servers, the ping is high, and it does not show the number of people playing or the number of servers.

Have I got the right crack, is there a crack what lets me see the number of players/servers and the correct pings.

Do you have XP? Its a known troublemaker with cracks.

Other people reported that their ping was very high after v1.11.
What internet connection do you have?

56k dial up

Was you ping lower with v1.0 and v1.10?

I Don't know to be honest, because as soon as I had the game, I put v1.11 on straight away.

Well, you could try 1.0 or 1.10 but i dont think that would help much. Probably not at all. The only thing you can do is get a better internet connection.

I have XP and have had no problems with the nocd crack. Additionally, my ping is still between 40-60 with the new patch 1.11. Maybe something has changed with your internet connection. Maybe you should try reinstalling a different 1.11 patch. There should be no reason not to see how many players are in each game.







If all else fails try try again.

Is 40-60 that bad? I have 10-15 on a 100MBit Lanserver, so..
