No Solder mod chip V5 Booting Problem
 

Hi
I have recently installed my version 5 ps2 with a no solder mod chip and for some strange reason it refuses to load certain games ie Gta3, GT3, Tony hawks pro 3, Airblade, Devil may cry???
does anyone with the same setup as mine have the same problem or is it just me???

all of the above are DVDs or DVD rips. games with more than 640 MB will not work right on that crappy tray opener wannabe mod.

you need the no mod patches to get the games to work on the r-mod.

so if i get the dvdr backups they will play ok?

Where will i find the no mod patches?
And will i need a specific patch for each game or is it a generic patch?

I have GTA3 and devil may cry dvd-r backups and they both work great. This mod does not play dvd rips to well.
