hp 8250 i
 

hi i have a hp8250 i,,, i read an article some time ago about flashing the drive so it can burn at faster speeds,, but i cant find the site anywhere can someone but me in the right direction or does anyone how to flash these drives

I have done it and it seems to have worked fine. I have had no problems with it, but whenever I am not in a rush I usually burn at a lower speed then 10x just to be safe.

Is your drive definitely the 8250i ?

I attempted the update, but when I tried flashing the drive with the HP8200 1.0g update, it said it was the wrong update for the drive, and wouldn't flash it.
