Safdisc 2 on Plex 12/10/32A
 

Hi all,

Sorry for probably asking an old question kind of getting back into it. Is there a way now to back up Safdisk 2 on a plextor 12/10/32A writer, or I need to use unSafDisc. Firmware on wirter 1.07. I would like to make a back up of Black & White.
Also after trying to play a bad copy of the game now I can not install or uninstall the original game, is there a way around this.

The software I'm using: CloneCD Version 2.8.4.2.

Check here (you're looking for correct EFM coding)

If it can't, then update your Clone CD at the same site (ur way behind the times with updates) and try out AWS which may help.

How did you get around the problem in your post, looking at elby website the 12/10/32a does'nt support EFM coding.

I have also got the above mentioned writer, I am also struggling with unsafedisk2, your findings maybe of some use.

Have you tried using AWS. Try Clone CD 4

AWS, what is that, never heard that before.

CloneCD v4 (BETA) just sits there trying to read a unsafedisk 2 CD (AQUANOX), maybe cause it is BETA.

In Clone CD 4 it will be enabled by default as long as your using the Game CD settings.

When asked which profile you want to use whilst reading and writing, make sure you tell CCD that it's a Game CD.

AWS is Amplify Weak Sectors. They are a protection measure in Safediscv2 since only a few burners can write the correctly.
