Freedom Force question
 

Tried to backup Freedom Force with the new clone 4. I am using the Iomega 8x4x32 (I think it's a Phillips drive). I have used previous versions of clone with this drive to successfully backup other Safedisc 1 and 2 games. However, this combination has not worked with the new version 2.51.

With FF, I burned 2 copies - (1 read with the drive and 1 read with a Teac 532. I could not install with either copy - both hung up at 2% (at the 'pak3' file???) and then aborted. Is this yet another new copy protection in addition to the SD2.51. (Tried to backup MOHAA using same method - able to install, but would not play.)

Anyone else have this same installation problem with copies of FF?

and now my original won't install either:(. Has this happened to anyone else or did I get one of those hard to see scratchs in the wrong spot on the disc?

I also tried to copy it for home netplay and the disk wrote well and can install but it will only run the program on occaisions when i'm lucky.

Why do you need to install it w/ a back-up disk?
Try blindwrite.
I think someone should try a nocd exe possibly
by using the demo executable and modding it.




P.S. even large very visible scratches rarely effect the reading of the disk.
