why use dup-dvd when dvd2svcd it's free?

Nobody has ever said that "bug-overload" dup-dvd is recommended for anything!

i have dup-dvd and its great....never gave me any problems
it just help stop all that messing about with just 1 click of a button.,

Well, I am glad it works for you. I wished it did for me.
So I am using DVDx which is the best tool, in my opinion. But if dup works for you, stay with it.
