HELP PS2 mod soulitions
 

Hello guys



well after waiting for the messiah for about 9 months
it seeems like it wont support my PS2 NTSC SCHPH 30001 DATE CODES 0C,and 1D these are the only models i can find in the USA ... now from what i understand from charlie and other guys
the MESSAIH wont work with these models....


so i need a ps2 back up soultion the only thing that i can think of is getting a PRE modded PAL PS2 from over seas with messaih
chip but thats gonna cost over $650 ?....

so is there any other NTSC PS2 Models in the USA that will work with Messaih ?>

Joey, we spoke on the telephone yesterday. I would like to repeat my advice to you that if someone offers you a v4 be careful and note the following points:

1/
A genuinely Messiah compatible v4 (8 screws) in good condition (laser) will likely have a premium on its price but it will end up cheaper than $650 by the time you have your Messiah and it is installed.

2/
Beware a "bargain" v4. Either the laser will be worn and it won't play DVD-Rs (but you can't yet prove that); or some mean sonofab will have swapped a sticker with the 1A/1B datecode whereas really it's a 1C. Remember that these cheapskates will put an old PS2 into a new case and get a refund from Walmart. So they won't think twice about shafting you.

if you can't find a compatible v4, get an origa. you'll have to swap once for cdr and dvd-r, but other than that it works very well too.
