Hi. I've finally got a uk ps2, and now I think its about time i need a modchip. The model no. is scph-30003 r and the expansion bay is metal. From what it looks like it has only got six screws? Does anyone know what version it is/what modchips are compatable?

six screws on bottom plus 2 on ledge that makes 8 :)
expansion bay is metal??? the EXPANSIONBAY COVER that u remove (not the bay itself) is it all plastic?? YES ITS A V5 NO ITS A V4R
messiah clones r best chip for a v5 or a v4r (just different solder points)

The actual cover that comes of is completely plastic, so it must be v5. I dont get paid till the 20th!(damn!), but will mail u as soon as.
