How do people press CD's? If anyone has any information on how, what hardware to use, how much it cost and/or where I can get it please, post a reply or email me

CD are pressed in big factory's ... u can't do that at home ...

Pressing cds is too complex to be done anywhere but in an dust protected factory.
However if you want to burn professional looking cds you can buy both black and metal bottom cds and either silk print them (expensive) or just use glossy stomper cd labels (with a good printer 1200*1200 minimum).
this is how i do my backups for playstation and pc games (and if i get the chance i use the silk printer at work to make them almost perfect).
