ps2 and dvd
 

well I sort of have 3 questions, 1st one is: does the mod chip scrue up the dvd player, 2nd is does the ps2 mod chip alow you to play psx backed up games, and my third question is 'are the ps2 games on dvds? please reply

I'm Still New Myself But~

1st) If installed correctly you shouldn't have any problems with the PSII

2nd) The Modchips alllow you to play Backup Copies psx psII.....
NEO4.0, 4.1 & Messiah are the Newest......
I think the Messiah allows you to play the backup copies with out any swapping(changing cd in and out) the Ne04 does the same but the DVD games you have to swap out one disk)

3rd PSII games are both dvd and cdr....
when you look at your psII disk it will say DVD on cover or disk
For example Medical Gear or GrandTheft Auto

CDR games Like Virtual Fighter and Half-Life, Madden etc

wow thanx soo much u must know alot about ps2

also, messiah plays original imports too, while neo 4 doesn't.
neo 4 needs 44 wires to install, messiah only 23.
