I am using cd to mp3 maker.

It converts cd->wav or mp3 mp3->wav and wav->mp3.

It is rather fast and reliable in my opinion.

But it is shareware though.

You could search for a prog called "CDex"...
This dirrty lil' helper can rip CDs into mp3 and wav also...

You could also try Goldwave, it'll do most anything and everything

ya could try dbpoweramp http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ that's what i use and it is a good program ya can make mp3 - wave / wave to mp3 / wma to mp3 / wma to wave ect ect ect if ya want to play around with wma ya will need the dBpowerAMP-codec-wmav8 it's a cool program give it a go :)
