Need help with Plextor burner 16/10/40A please.
 

Hello,
I am a beginner with burning and all. I have burned myself a few backups of games and of datat from hard drive.
I ran into problems when I tried to burn me a backup CD of a game called "Tribes" for example. ALso DIablo 2 cd 2 gave me trouble and I had to burn it at 4X speed.
I am aware that there are protections on CDs. But if I am trying to backup my CD how can I avoid this?
For example there are some "tracks" that cannot be recorded at all.
I am using Roxio WinOn CD 3.8 with this burner.

Your Plextor is great and if you know how to make full use of it you'll be very pleased. There are protections on CDs yuou must avoid in order for the copy to work. Grab CloneCD to backup your games and use Clony to identify the protection on every CD and give CloneCD the correct options. If you need any additional help, send me a mail. ana_geo_s********com
