I am sick and tired of reading posts like this.

Could you please (at least!) specify the game you are talking about ? The manufacturer of your cd writer would also be a useful piece of information, and maybe the software you use.

(BTW: WHY ARE YOU USING CAPSLOCK FOR YOUR ENTIRE POST???? I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE GETTING PISSED OFF BY THIS!
DON'T YOU THINK SO?? YOUR WORDS ARE ALSO HEARD WITHOUT IT!!)

STILL USING CAPSLOCK ALL THE TIME ??? STOP IT!!

Okay, here is the deal.

I don't know the game's protection nor your writer model.

Install the game (also try to install from your backup, maybe the setup.exe is also protected!)

Unpack the nocd you have dled. Read the readme, nfo or diz if available. If it is a patch copy to the gamedir and execute. It should remove the protection. If it is a cracked exe copy to gamedir overwriting the old one. BACK THE OLD ONE UP FIRST.

If it still doesn't work:

1) The crack may not work
2) You are having different versions crack/original
3) The crack isn't designed for your os (win xp?)
4) ...............

Hope this helps!

This may be one of your problems. Do as Monty said, and also label the cd correctly as well.

Yup, forgot that one, thanx gh0sth@cker.

The easiest way to label your cd right is:

Insert the original cd

right-click on you cd drive and select properties

Copy & paste the cd's name into nero
