Problem with my Plextor 16
 

I'm abit confused and wonder if anyone has had this same problem with their Plextor 16\10\40.
For some strange reason lately if i place a blank cd in the drive, it will just freeze windowsME and do nothing (actually the drive keeps spinning).
What's suppose to happen is Easy Cd creator 5 would pop up on screen with the menu. Instead, I cant click on any shortcuts or ####t bar. Once I unload the blank CD, the Easy 5 popup menu displays and I can go about my business. Funny thing though is I can once and a while quit Easy 5 and reload the blank CD and it will work fine. This holds true for copied backups such as Red Alert 2 (SD2 removed) ,yet it works fine in my DVD rom. This problem has only ####ted recently and I'm hoping it wont mean I have to return it back to the store (I wont see it again for 4 to 6 weeks).
Help would be appreciated.
