copying max payne
 

:confused: someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have been trying to make a playable backup of the pc game max payne. I have tried easy cd creator, clonecd, cdrwin and daemon tools(not so sure how to use this one). have had no success. they will copy the game but i cant play it someone please please please tell me what to do

Have you tried using one of the NoCD cracks found in GCW??

no i havent. not sure how to use. and which one would you recommend

well the same veriosn as the game you have and then jsut replace the exe iin the main directory!

sorry people for being a dumbass, but i have downloaded the nocd crack and the patch but what do i do with them in order to get the game to play.........thanks

When you copy the cd you might want to check and make sure the name is the same as the original. It makes a difference on the cd checks I found out recently. Hope that helps.

OK once you have downloaded the noCD crack you need copy it and paste it over the Max Pain folder. This would then bring up a request to change **** to ***** select yes and it will change a file allowing you to be able to play the game without having to use the CD. One other thing to note is that you MUST have the FULL installation installed (not small or medium).

Also get Clony XXL which will tell you what protection the cd is using and what settings to use in Clone CD. Whether you're able to copy it with Clone CD is down to what kind of drive you have. What is your burner?

Also get rid of Easy CD-Cremator. You should keep the rest of them, but Easy has no use whatsoever.

thanks for the help i really appreciated it....i did what you guys said and it worked(sort of) the game started to play without cd but then i got this error message.......maxpayne has caused an error in E2MFC.DLL.BY THE WAY MY BURNER IS A MITSUMI OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

do a full installation of max payne..then go here http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c901800_0.htm and download the no cd crack version 1.02( why that one well because i iknow it works) then copy and paste onto your max payne folder
