What burner is best for mass production???
 

I use my Yamaha 6416 Burner for mass producing CD's for company giveaways. It has made about 1,600 CD's in a year. I'm expecting it to break down in a couple of months. Right now, I'm thinking of buying a Ricoh drive because it's cheaper. Can anyone suggest the most durable burner? This is my primary concern because like I said, the more CD's the burner produces before it breaks down, would be the best choice for me.

either buy a standalone product $2K US {look in computer magazines}
or buy
4*mitsumi cr4804te and use nero 5.5 to burn all at once, this is a cheap mass production method and mitsumi are selling off these drive cheap! as a benefit they can also make perfect copys of most protected titles and are a recomended burner in clone cd.

Are teac drives durable? how about ricoh? Or the new one like lite-on and lg collins?

TEACs are rock solid and last for loooooooong! They are cheap as well! I however would recommend a 24x burner for msive reproduction. A Plextor 24x is said to come out this automn and the SANYO BP1400 will be on the selves next month!!! As far as Ricoh is concerned, I can safely tell you they are a fuss! They won't accept many types of CD's. Maybe, you should pay a visit here. It will help you a lot. ####://www.cdrinfo.com
